Antonio Pierce returns to his hometometown of Compton to give back

This year's camp was sponsored in=2 0part by the City of Compton who applauded Antonio's efforts in supporting the youth in his community. The camp was free and open to kids ages 7-16. It was a fun-filled day that included lunch, drills, and motivational talks.

Antonio was joined by several of his NFL colleagues who support his mission to improve the quality of life for the youth of Long Beach/Compton. 'It is so important to me that these kids understand that they can be anything they want to be from a professional football player to the president of the United States. All it takes is hard work and perseverance. All of the players that spoke to the campers stressed the importance of education and staying focused to achieve their goals.' Pierce further states 'Every year, I look at the faces of these campers and believe that some of them will get the message that is being given and that makes it all worth it.'
